When it comes to the tag teaming of food styling and photography...there are semi pros...and there are super pros.

Teri Lyn Fisher and Jenny Park of

Spoon Fork Bacon

definitely fall into the latter. Watching them work is inspiring. Each immediately snapping into their place and without much communication instantly on the same page and running towards perfection on a plate. They are like the WWF styling team of food, but with more grace...and less spandex.

Their style is fresh, vibrant and without question mouth watering. With two gorgeous books completed and a dizzying amount of cataloged recipes on their site, not to mention their individual freelance ventures on the side, these two gals are a force to be reckoned with...and definitely on the top of our list of those we admire.

You Got Served...by Spoon Fork Bacon.

Do you have a routine or game plan when it comes to styling with props for your photos?

We really try to play off the color of the food, and to always make the food the center of attention. We try to make the food be the statement in the photo, not the props.

What's your Serving Style? Brand new/on trend, unique vintage originals, particular colors?

We are both very drawn to classic pieces made by individual artists. Those pieces always seem to become more special and unique. Having said that, we both really love Heath and will never tire of their simplistic utilitarian look.

Do you have a favorite piece in your collection? What's the story behind it?

We really love all of our Elephant Ceramic pieces, but this one has got to be our favorite. I love the color, and it works really well with meat. The strokes of color that reveal the white unglazed bit of the plate is just such a stunning detail. The plate was purchased from Michele herself from one of her big cartel sales. These sales are particularly stressful because they sell out in an instant, so I was happy to have been able to grab this piece.

If you could get a hold of any item for your kitchen or tabletop, what do you currently have your eye on?

If money is no object and we have thousands to spend on props I really really want some Dietlind Wolf pieces. I have been following her for years and years, she is an amazing talent. Not only is she a creative prop stylist and photographer, but she makes a lot of her ceramics. A lot of her ceramic pieces have been floating around on pinterest lately.

Watching Teri and Jenny dance back and forth from kitchen to set, visually tells a story on how perfect their partnership is. Choreographed seamlessly, they produced one heck of a vibrant yet delicate salad (that honestly didn't need much styling on it's own - swoon!) within a minimalist serene still life. These gals dive into everything they do with enthusiasm, precision and a whole lot of delightful flair...and we can't wait to see what's next.

Check out their latest book The Perfect Egg & stay incredibly hungry and in awe of their style over on instagram.
